Hawk Cove, Texas, October 8, 2026. We received a records request asking for, among other things, the police department’s policies, its racial profiling reports, and how the department is paid for, including any money moved over from the water and sewer fund. We don’t think this is of any concern to the public. We provided the requester with a $4,500.00 cost estimate. Hopefully this prevents them from wasting any more of our employees’ valuable time.
